- Circle announces the release of a new feature, Circle Collections.
- Collections to allow users to purchase a group of cryptocurrencies in one tap.
Circle Internet Financial Ltd. (CIF) on the 4th October, through its official blog, announced the introduction of new collections to its app, the Circle Invest app.
Circle’s Latest Announcement
The new feature comes after a few months the firm released a feature on the app, Buy The Market, which helped in purchasing crypto assets easily. To further enhance the platform’s usability, Circle is giving its users access to trading certain digital tokens by their category. Circle has therefore added three additional collections, named “Platforms, Payments, and Privacy.”
Depending on one’s choice, a user can easily purchase the Privacy coins collection in one tap. Cryptocurrencies purchased are therefore calculated by each asset in the collection being weighed against their market capitalization. Also, because Circle knows there are several risks associated with investing in cryptocurrencies, they’ve made an in-product content feature available which guides users on each collection.
As pointed out by Circle’s website, users can purchase these 11 assets on the platform – bitcoin (BTC), ethereum (ETH), bitcoin cash (BCH), ethereum classic (ETC), litecoin (LTC), Zcash (ZEC), monero (XMR), stellar (XLM), 0x (ZRX), Qtum (QTUM) and EOS (EOS). The platform has also indicated interest to continue adding more cryptocurrencies with time.
Recent Achievements
The company, Circle, has been actively doing its bit to improve the cryptocurrency industry, as it recently announced the release of a new dollar backed stablecoin, USDC.
The stablecoin was introduced to make cross-border payments easy. Users can purchase the coin using their bank accounts, send to recipient where he will be able to withdraw the stablecoin in fiat, directly into a bank account. USDC, aside from being listed on Circle’s Poloniex, is also listed on OKCoin, Kucoin, Huobi, and Coinbase cryptocurrency exchanges.
Before now, Coinbase had earlier introduced a similar feature called Coinbase Bundle. The bundle gives Coinbase users the opportunity to purchase the top five digital currencies available on Coinbase easily. However, the package is only available to verified users in the US and UK.
