The purpose of this partnership with the well-known Web3 wallet provider is to launch a unique mobile application named Ledger Nano X. Ledger took to X to announce the respective development. As per the company, this endeavor would provide considerable convenience to mobile users.
Ledger’s New Collaboration with MetaMask Introduces a Unique App
While providing details about the latest product, it mentioned that the consumers can link the app to their MetaMask application through Bluetooth. In addition to this, the users can also import Ledger accounts to the Metamask account. After doing that, the users can use Ledger Nano X to sign their transfers from Metamask. The firm expressed its enthusiasm about the support that MetaMask Mobile has provided to it.
According to Ledger, the app provides improved security to enhance the experience on MetaMask Mobile. Moreover, it revealed that it will also offer some additional options to the Ledger users. Hence, they would have the capability to securely and easily self-custody assets. Up till now, just the browser extension of MetaMask Desktop was harmonious with Ledger Wallet.
However, the users can now connect the MetaMask Mobile application to Ledger Nano X through Bluetooth. In this way, they can matchlessly import Ledger Live accounts. The company also stated that the hardware wallet of Ledger secures private keys without bringing them online. Ledger’s VP of Engineering “Carl Anderson” disclosed that the collaboration between Ledger and MetaMask will provide best-in-class security.

The executive also asserted that the partnership will provide remarkable security to Web3 users. In its recent blog post, Ledger noted that users can open the mobile app of MetaMask to open Accounts. Following that, they can add a hardware wallet or account to import hardware wallet.
