- Payment option available for online and offline merchants
- Users can pay for goods and services using cryptocurrencies
- TTC say they will become popular because of their user-friendliness
TTC Protocol has unveiled TTC Pay, a new cryptocurrency payment service. The payment platform enables users to make payments using cryptocurrencies for both online and offline merchants.
Reaching 30 million users
According to a press release earlier this week, merchants will accept the TTC payment option by integrating the TTC Pay SDK into their websites and mobile Apps. The service already has a client base of over 30 million users who belong to the TTC Alliance member services where the service is already available.
They have designed the platform to offer a safe and simple payment experience to users and will work like other major online payment service like PayPal and Apple Pay. The payment platform will provide a mobile SDK for online merchants and a QR Code feature that will serve offline merchants.
The presence of the TTC Pay QR Code option expands the prospective client base since its usability will rope in offline merchants; according to the press release:
“Merchants can show their QR codes synced with their mobile wallet app, TTC Connect to accept payment via all QR readers in the market. Scanning the QR readers will automatically bring up the TTC Connect on their smartphones and the user only needs to enter their password to make a payment.”
Aiming to become the go-to payment service
The Korea-based project is one of the world’s largest social networking ecosystems on the blockchain with over 30 million users. They have been on a charm offensive to provide a one-step solution to integrate blockchain technology with a stable, vibrant ecosystem that offers value to all participants including developers and end users.
The company believes that TTC Pay will become the go-to payment service because of its user-friendliness, since unlike other similar payment service providers that demand separate devices or multiple authentication processes, TTC Pay is much easier as it only requires a user-set password. TTC Protocol’s CEO Brian Cheong stated:
“We tried hard not to change a thing from the traditional payment process, when designing the TTC Pay. We are planning to extend TTC Pay’s service by working together with exchanges, other payment services, e-commerce sites, and offline channels.”
The launch of TTC Pay will enable existing e-commerce platforms and software developers to seamlessly connect to the TTC Protocol Ecosystem and allow users to easily make their payments using TTC. As soon as any merchant implements the TTC Pay SDK or QR Code, users will be able to directly buy or sell goods using their cryptos at the click of a button.
