Two days. A resort on Vietnam’s central coast. Government departments as co-hosts, closed-door roundtables, and a speaker line-up drawn from the global Web3, Blockchain, AI and digital asset leadership.
Wednesday, 27 May 2026 Da Nang, Vietnam: Aeternum, organisers of the Unchained Summit series, will host the second edition of Unchained Summit Vietnam this week. It runs on 28th and 29th May at the Furama Resort in Da Nang.
The event is co-hosted by the Da Nang Innovation Start Support Center (DISSC). Several public bodies are also taking part:
- The Da Nang People’s Committee
- The State Securities Commission of Vietnam
- The Da Nang Department of Science and Technology
The summit brings together founders, investors, exchanges, tech firms, business leaders, and lawmakers. They come from across Asia and the Pacific, and beyond.
This second edition comes as Vietnam’s crypto sector moves from early tests to real policy work. The strong role of the government at the event shows this shift. For context, see our report on Vietnam’s new crypto penalty rules.
Day 1: Thursday, 28 May

- A closing keynote by Justin Kim of Ava Labs on real-world blockchain adoption across enterprises, finance, and digital infrastructure.
Closed-Door Roundtables
On the afternoon of Day 1, an invite-only executive roundtable will take place at the Furama Resort. Its title is Vietnam’s Path to a Trusted Digital Asset Ecosystem.
It will bring together 17 chosen delegates. They come from government, crypto exchanges, banks and funds, tech providers, and regulators. The talks cover how ready the rules are, how big firms can join in, the systems markets need, and work across borders.
On Day 2, a second invite-only roundtable and delegation visit will be hosted at VIFC with 20 selected delegates. Its theme is Positioning Da Nang as a Regional Digital Financial Centre.
The session brings together speakers from abroad, leaders of big firms, and government officials. They will talk about how to draw digital finance investment, how to build the systems it needs, and where Vietnam fits in the region’s digital asset market. Delegates will meet the key people behind Vietnam’s plans for a financial centre.
What speakers say
“Unchained Summit brings together public and private sector leaders in a room where the real work gets done, cutting through the noise to map the future of crypto in markets like Vietnam that are actively shaping the rules.”
- Tanna Chong, Head of Public Policy, VerifyVASP
“The regulatory frameworks are in place, the capital is ready to move, and the window to build Asia’s next generation of digital asset companies is open. Unchained Summit is where that conversation belongs.”
- Adam Nguyen, Executive Director, Sora Ventures
“Vietnam has one of the most active crypto communities globally, and institutional appetite for tokenised real-world assets is accelerating. Unchained Summit puts that appetite in the same room as the infrastructure being built to serve it.”
- Duke Du, Co-Founder and CTO, OpenEden
“Da Nang has earned its place in the global Web3 conversation. The institutional interest, the government engagement, the calibre of participants choosing to be here: that does not happen by accident. We are proud to have played a part in putting this city on the map, and this edition reflects the seriousness with which the market has responded.”
