Today, Brazil banned X as Elon Musk ignored the court’s order to suspend certain accounts. The Brazil-based crypto community is stunned by the ban as X is considered to be the major source of information related to crypto happenings. Charles Hoskinson, an American entrepreneur and the founder of Cardano ($ADA) sympathizes with the Brazilian community and shares his remarks on his official X account, favours the decentralized social platform, X.
Charles Hoskinson Shares His Views X Ban in Brazil
Charles Hoskin shared his remarks while replying to a Cardano Ambassador on X. Mauro Andreoli, the ambassador at Cardano, drew Hoskinson’s attention to the cancelled workshop in São Paulo because of Brazil’s recent ban on X. Upon which, Charles Hoskinson stressed the matter of banning X in Brazil, criticizing the authorities for being biased in decentralization.
Additionally, Hoskinson also sympathized with the Brazilian community, being silenced by the ban. He appreciated the efforts of the people organizing the workshop and encouraged them that their work matters to the Cardano ($ADA) and the overall crypto community. They’ll be looking forward to meeting the Brazilian delegates at the convention and will support them by recruiting talent from Brazil. Hence, by adding Brazilians to the team, they’ll join forces to build the decimalized social network.
How Does Ban on X Affect the Crypto Space in Brazil?
X is considered to be the main and reliable source of information as major crypto-related information comes through X. Banning X in Brazil, there is a possibility that the crypto community residing in Brazil might get demotivated due to the communication gap and lack of information. Moreover, X itself is owned by Elon Musk, a significant persona in the growing tech and crypto space.
There are chances that the crypto market might face a downturn in Brazil because of the Ban on X. If Brazilians tried to use a VPN to access X, they’ll have to face the penalty of $8,874 which left Brazilians no choice but to restrain from X. Hence, people residing in Brazil will also be limited to crypto space due to lack of information and updates. Along with Charles Hoskinson, many other crypto-related people have commented on this ban and assured their support for the Brazilian community during this hour of need.
