Quick Answer: FET, the token of Fetch.ai and the Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) Alliance, trades near $0.18 as of October 27, 2026, with a market cap of about $420 million (#94 on CoinMarketCap). It is down about 11% since the end of 2025 and about 95% below its all-time high of $3.47 from March 2024. Central estimates from the models we track put FET between about $0.084 (CoinLore) and $0.26 (CoinCodex) at the end of 2026, and between about $0.084 (Traders Union) and $0.35 (CoinCodex) in 2030. The token still trades under the FET ticker, not ASI.
Fetch.ai is a Cambridge, UK-based company that builds software for autonomous AI agents, and FET has traded since February 2019. In 2024, Fetch.ai, SingularityNET and Ocean Protocol merged their tokens into FET to form the ASI Alliance, which CUDOS joined later that year; Ocean left in October 2025. In 2026, Fetch.ai relaunched its brand around personal AI agents, the alliance moved its ASI:Create agent platform into a closed beta, and a September exploit drained about 8.7 million FET from a token conversion contract. The price fell to its lowest level since January 2023 in August, more than doubled by early October and has since fallen about 35%.
This update covers the current FET price, the FET and ASI names, the main 2026 developments, the latest forecasts for 2026 to 2030 and 2040, and what it would take for FET to reach $1.
Key Takeaways
- FET trades about 95% below its all-time high of $3.47, set on March 28, 2024, before the token merger, and fell to $0.119 on August 17, 2026, its lowest price since January 2023, according to CoinMarketCap
- The token is down about 11% since the end of 2025: it peaked at $0.313 on January 6, lost 36% in June, its worst month, and gained 49% in September, its best month
- Still FET, not ASI: the alliance calls FET its ASI token, but the planned change of ticker to ASI has not happened, and Binance, Coinbase and Kraken still list FET
- Ocean Protocol left the alliance in October 2025; the alliance’s board said it would suspend the conversion bridge and was taking legal advice on “obtaining restitution or compensation for the ASI Community for any wrongful actions,” and a US class action against Ocean followed in November 2025
- In September 2026, about 8.7 million FET (about $1.55 million) was drained from a conversion contract on Ethereum, and Fetch.ai paused AGIX-to-FET conversions, according to CryptoSlate and ForkLog
- Central estimates from current models put FET between about $0.084 and $0.26 at the end of 2026, with two of three above today’s price, and between about $0.084 and $0.35 in 2030

What Is Fetch.ai (FET) and the ASI Alliance?
Fetch.ai builds software for autonomous AI agents, programs that can search, book and pay on a user’s behalf. Its products include ASI:One, a personal AI assistant, and Agentverse, a directory that Fetch.ai says lists 2.7 million agents. FET can be staked on Fetch.ai’s own Cosmos-based blockchain, and in December 2025 Fetch.ai said agents on ASI:One would be able to pay with Visa cards, USDC and FET.
In 2024, Fetch.ai, SingularityNET and Ocean Protocol formed the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance and merged their tokens into FET. From July 1, 2024, holders of AGIX and OCEAN could convert at about 0.433 FET per token, while FET kept a 1:1 rate. The plan was to rename FET as ASI, but the alliance says only that the ticker change will be carried out “in due time”; its website calls the token “ASI Token ($FET)”. CUDOS, a cloud computing project, joined in September 2024, adding about 89 million FET to the supply, and Ocean left in October 2025, so the members today are Fetch.ai, SingularityNET and CUDOS. More background is available on the ASI Alliance website and on Fetch.ai’s website.
Fetch.ai News: What Has Happened in 2026
Still FET. More than two years after the merger began, the token trades as FET on Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, OKX and Crypto.com, while CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko list it under the name Artificial Superintelligence Alliance.
Ocean’s exit and the unconverted tokens. On October 9, 2025, Ocean Protocol Foundation gave notice that it was removing its directors from Superintelligence Alliance Ltd and resigning as a member. The alliance’s board said its preliminary view was that this conduct was “in apparent breach of Ocean’s contractual obligations.” It said it would “suspend the operation of the conversion bridge” and was seeking advice on whether “the 110 million FET tokens which have yet to be converted to the bridge can be put to the ASI Community.” Fetch.ai CEO Humayun Sheikh later offered to drop legal claims if 286 million FET were returned, Cointelegraph reported, and Ocean denied wrongdoing. In November 2025, Fetch Compute, Inc. and three token holders filed a proposed class action in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York against Ocean Protocol Foundation, related entities and several individuals, CryptoSlate reported. Ocean’s counsel said the foundation “will be responding to this lawsuit vigorously in due course.” As of October 2026, we found no report of a ruling or settlement.
A September exploit. On September 19, about 8.7 million FET, worth about $1.55 million, was drained from a conversion contract on Ethereum that is part of SingularityNET’s bridge, CryptoSlate and ForkLog reported, citing on-chain analysis that pointed to a compromised authorization key. Fetch.ai said its own contracts and normal FET transfers were not affected, and it paused AGIX-to-FET conversions and an Ethereum-side bridge contract as a precaution. We found no report that conversions have resumed.
Agents and products. In January, Fetch.ai relaunched its brand around ASI:One, Agentverse and Fetch Business, which lets brands claim verified agents, and released FetchCoder V2, a coding assistant for building agents. In December 2025, it had announced that agents on ASI:One could pay for real-world services such as restaurant bookings, with a rollout planned for January. The alliance’s ASI:Create platform for building agents moved from a closed alpha in February to a closed beta in June.
ASI:Chain. The alliance’s planned blockchain for AI applications, ASI:Chain, has been in a development network (DevNet) stage since November 2025. The official announcements we reviewed give no date for a public testnet or mainnet.
Staking. FET can be staked on Fetch.ai’s native network through the ASI Alliance Wallet. Rewards are paid every block, and unstaked tokens become available after 21 days, according to the network’s documentation.
ETFs. We found no filing for a US spot FET ETF on SEC EDGAR. In Europe, Valour has listed an exchange-traded product tracking FET on Sweden’s Spotlight Stock Market since December 2024, with a 1.9% fee.

FET began trading on Binance on February 28, 2019, and by the end of 2019 it was 91% below its first daily close on CoinMarketCap. After its all-time low of $0.0083 in March 2020, it rose almost tenfold in 2021 and more than sevenfold in 2023. It set its all-time high of $3.47 on March 28, 2024, when about 841 million FET were in circulation. The token merger, which began on July 1, 2024, roughly tripled the supply counted by CoinMarketCap, and FET’s market cap peaked at about $5.2 billion on December 6, 2024, on a daily closing basis, with a close of $2.13. FET last closed above $1 on January 31, 2025, and lost 84% in 2025, including a brief intraday drop to $0.15 on October 10.
In 2026, FET peaked on January 6 and lost 17% in February; on February 5 alone it fell about 17%, the same day Bitcoin fell about 14%. It gained 48% in March, including a jump of about 21% on March 16 on the year’s highest trading volume, which coincided with the first day of Nvidia’s GTC AI conference. After rising 38% in May, FET lost 36% in June, its worst month; on June 4 it fell about 15% while Bitcoin was almost flat. It hit its 2026 low of $0.1193 on August 17, gained 49% in September, its best month, and reached $0.270 intraday on October 5. It is down about 24% for October through October 26.
FET Price Prediction 2026
With about two months left in the year, the central estimates of two of the three models we track put FET above today’s price at the end of 2026.
| Source | Low | Average | High |
|---|---|---|---|
| CoinCodex (December 2026; headline target $0.2779) | $0.2414 | $0.2569 | $0.2779 |
| CoinLore (bear / base / bull) | $0.0503 | $0.0838 | $0.6228 |
| Traders Union (December 2026) | $0.2025 | $0.2066 | $0.2107 |
CoinCodex expects about $0.257 by the end of the year, roughly 45% above today’s price; its headline target of $0.2779 is the top of its December range, about 57% higher. Traders Union expects about $0.207, a gain of about 17%, although its page summary quotes $0.1245, which is its November average and would be a fall of about 30%. CoinLore’s base case of $0.0838, given only in its text, would be a drop of about 53%, while its bull case of $0.6228 would be about 3.5 times today’s price. All three pages show a price close to today’s, and CoinCodex and CoinLore updated their models on October 27.
We do not use the figures from CoinDataFlow, whose FET forecasts follow the same template as its pages for other coins we checked, peaking in 2029 and falling in 2030, and match its Algorand forecasts as multiples of the current price; from BeInCrypto, whose FET page shows placeholder values such as a $0.00 price; or from Changelly, whose table puts FET at $0.328 or more in October 2026, almost twice the current price.
FET trades about 12% below its 50-day moving average of $0.2011 and about 6% below its 200-day average of $0.1887, with a 14-day RSI of 37, according to CoinCodex.
Range of central 2026 estimates: about $0.084 to $0.26.
FET Price Prediction 2027
| Source | Low | Average | High |
|---|---|---|---|
| CoinCodex (monthly range) | $0.3039 | $0.4787 | $0.8009 |
| CoinLore (bear / base / bull) | $0.0789 | $0.1315 | $1.80 |
| Traders Union (end of 2027) | n/a | $0.0782 | n/a |
The central 2027 estimates are far apart, from about $0.078 at Traders Union to $0.48 at CoinCodex. CoinCodex’s monthly path climbs to a high of $0.80 in February 2027 and falls back to about $0.40 by December. Traders Union’s monthly table ends in October 2027, at an average of $0.26, so its year-end figure has no matching December row and should be treated with caution. Most of these models are built mainly on past prices.
FET Price Prediction 2028 and 2029
| Source | 2028 (central) | 2029 (central) |
|---|---|---|
| CoinCodex (average of monthly forecasts) | $0.8664 | $0.6358 |
| CoinLore (base case) | $0.2087 | $0.2211 |
| Traders Union (end of year) | $0.0997 | $0.0934 |
For 2028 and 2029, central estimates range from about $0.093 to $0.87. CoinCodex’s monthly averages pass $1 in parts of 2028 and early 2029 before falling below $0.50 from June 2029, while Traders Union sees FET at about half its current price. CoinLore’s bull case for 2029 ($2.54) is higher than its bull case for 2030.
FET Price Prediction 2030
| Source | Low | Average | High |
|---|---|---|---|
| CoinCodex (monthly range; headline target $0.3805) | $0.2596 | $0.3532 | $0.4628 |
| CoinLore (bear / base / bull) | $0.2002 | $0.3337 | $1.71 |
| Traders Union (end of 2030) | n/a | $0.0844 | n/a |
2030 estimates split. CoinCodex’s average of $0.353 and CoinLore’s base case of $0.334 imply gains of about 89% to 100%, and CoinCodex’s headline target of $0.3805, the top of its December 2030 range, would be about 115% above today’s price. Traders Union expects about $0.084, roughly 52% lower. CoinLore’s page says FET could reach $1.71 by 2030, but that is its bull case, about 9.7 times the current price.
All forecasts are third-party model estimates, not investment advice.
FET Price Prediction 2040
Long-range forecasts are highly speculative. CoinCodex projects about $0.95 by 2040, within its December 2040 range, and Traders Union about $0.21. CoinLore is far more optimistic, with a base case of $2.65 and a bull case of $8.18.
What Drives the FET Price?
- Sentiment toward AI: FET’s biggest gain of 2026, about 21% on March 16 on the year’s highest volume, coincided with the opening of Nvidia’s GTC AI conference.
- Alliance stability: Ocean’s exit, the conversion bridge the board said it would suspend, the 110 million FET that had yet to be converted through it and the US lawsuit against Ocean remain open questions.
- Bridge security: the September exploit hit the infrastructure that links FET, AGIX and other networks, and AGIX-to-FET conversions were paused afterwards.
- Supply: about 2.38 billion FET circulate out of a total supply of about 2.71 billion, and CoinMarketCap’s circulating figure has risen about 3% in 2026.
- Product use: demand for ASI:One, Agentverse and agent payments, and progress on ASI:Chain beyond its DevNet stage.
- The wider market: like most altcoins, FET tends to move with Bitcoin and overall risk appetite, as on February 5, when FET fell about 17% and Bitcoin about 14%. Our Bitcoin price prediction covers the market leader.
Can FET Reach $1?
Only in some central estimates: CoinCodex’s monthly averages pass $1 for a few months in 2028 and early 2029, and CoinLore’s base case does so from 2035. FET last closed above $1 on January 31, 2025. With about 2.38 billion FET in circulation, each price level implies a market cap that can be compared with other coins.
| FET Price | Market Cap Needed | Multiple of Today’s Price | For Comparison |
|---|---|---|---|
| $0.50 | About $1.2B | About 2.8x | Between Render ($0.87B) and Polkadot ($1.7B) today |
| $1 | About $2.4B | About 5.7x | Below Bittensor ($2.9B) today |
| $3.47 (ATH) | About $8.3B | About 19.7x | Just below Chainlink ($8.5B) today |
| $10 | About $23.8B | About 56.6x | Below TRON ($31.2B) today |
| $100 | About $238B | About 566x | Below Ethereum ($284B) today |
At $1, FET’s circulating market cap would be less than half its record of about $5.2 billion from December 2024, and its fully diluted value would be about $2.7 billion. Matching that record today would take a price of about $2.18, and matching the $5.9 billion market cap of NEAR Protocol, which also markets itself as infrastructure for AI agents, about $2.50; our NEAR price prediction covers it. Because only about a third of today’s supply circulated at the 2024 high, a return to $3.47 would mean about $8.3 billion, far above FET’s record. A $100 FET would need about $238 billion, more than BNB and XRP combined today, and no model we track comes close: the highest figure is CoinLore’s 2040 bull case of $8.18.
Key Risks of FET
- Deep drawdown: FET trades about 95% below its 2024 high, fell to its lowest price since January 2023 in August and is down about 34% over the past year
- Alliance disputes: after Ocean Protocol’s exit, the alliance’s board said it would suspend the conversion bridge, and a US class action against Ocean over hundreds of millions of FET followed; we found no ruling or settlement
- Bridge security: about 8.7 million FET was drained from a conversion contract in September, and AGIX-to-FET conversions were paused
- Name and network confusion: the token is called both FET and ASI and exists on several networks, which raises the risk of sending it to the wrong network or buying an imitation
- Supply outside circulation: about 335 million FET of the total supply are not counted as circulating by CoinMarketCap
- Data gaps: CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko disagree on circulating supply (2.38 billion vs 2.31 billion FET) and rank (#94 vs #120)
- Model limits: most forecasts extrapolate past prices, and their central 2030 estimates range from about $0.084 to $0.35
Where to Buy FET
FET has spot markets on major exchanges including Binance (FET/USDT, FET/USDC and FET/TRY), Coinbase (FET/USD), Kraken (FET/USD and FET/EUR), OKX (FET/USDT) and Crypto.com (FET/USD). CoinGecko also lists active FET markets on Bitvavo, Gate and LBank. Availability depends on your country, so check what each platform offers where you live. Our guide to the best crypto exchanges compares fees and features.
FET exists as a token on Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain and Cardano and as the native coin of Fetch.ai’s own network, where it can be staked. Check the network before withdrawing from an exchange, and use a wallet that supports it. Our crypto wallets guide explains the trade-offs between wallet types. Before acting on market-moving claims about FET, such as a ticker change to ASI, token conversions or exploits, check them against official channels; our guide on how to verify crypto news and rumors explains how.
Is Fetch.ai (FET) a Good Investment?
That depends on your view of AI agents, whether Fetch.ai’s products can attract users and your tolerance for risk. The bull case rests on Fetch.ai’s agent products and agent payments, its alliance with SingularityNET and CUDOS, and CoinCodex forecasts that see FET well above today’s price from 2027 to 2030. The bear case is that the alliance lost a founding member amid a dispute, a September exploit hit its conversion infrastructure, CoinLore’s base case sees FET at about half today’s price at the end of 2026, and Traders Union expects it lower in every year from 2027 to 2030.
FET has lost about 95% of its value since its 2024 peak, and further losses are possible. The outcome of the Ocean dispute, the findings of the exploit investigation and any resumption of conversions, the timing of the ASI ticker change and of ASI:Chain, and demand for Fetch.ai’s agent products are the main known factors that could affect FET over the next year. For more forecasts across the market, see our crypto price predictions.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Fetch.ai (FET) price prediction for 2026?
Central estimates from current models put FET between about $0.084 and $0.26 at the end of 2026, against a late October price of about $0.18. CoinCodex expects about $0.26 and Traders Union about $0.21, both above that price, while CoinLore’s base case is $0.084, about half of it. CoinLore’s bull case is $0.62.
What is the FET price prediction for 2030 and beyond?
2030 estimates split. CoinCodex’s average of about $0.35 and CoinLore’s base case of $0.33 point to gains of roughly 89% to 100% from the late October price, while Traders Union expects about $0.084, about half that level. CoinLore’s bull case is $1.71. By 2040, central estimates range from about $0.21 at Traders Union to $2.65 in CoinLore’s base case.
Will Fetch.ai reach $100?
Not on any model we track. At $100, FET would need a market cap of about $238 billion, more than BNB and XRP combined today and more than 500 times its late October value. A more realistic test is $1, which needs a market cap of about $2.4 billion: CoinCodex’s monthly averages pass it in parts of 2028 and 2029, and CoinLore’s base case from 2035.
What is Fetch.ai, and is FET the same as ASI?
Fetch.ai builds software for autonomous AI agents, including the ASI:One assistant and the Agentverse directory. In 2024 it merged tokens with SingularityNET and Ocean Protocol to form the Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) Alliance, which CUDOS later joined and Ocean left in 2025. The merged token is still called FET, because the planned switch to an ASI ticker has not happened.
What factors influence the FET price?
The main factors are sentiment toward AI, the wider crypto market, the alliance’s stability, bridge security and supply. Ocean Protocol’s exit in 2025 left 110 million FET unconverted and a dispute with no announced settlement, and a September 2026 exploit drained about 8.7 million FET from a conversion contract. FET’s biggest 2026 gain coincided with Nvidia’s GTC conference.
Is Fetch.ai a good investment?
That depends on your risk tolerance and your view of AI agents. Supporters point to Fetch.ai’s agent products, its alliance with SingularityNET and CUDOS, and CoinCodex forecasts well above today’s price. Critics point to a 95% fall from the 2024 high, Ocean Protocol’s departure, a September exploit and CoinLore’s base case of about half today’s price at the end of 2026.
Where can I buy FET?
FET trades on major exchanges including Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, OKX and Crypto.com, and CoinGecko also lists markets on Bitvavo, Gate and LBank. Availability depends on your country, so check each platform’s supported assets before buying. FET exists on Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Cardano and Fetch.ai’s own network, so confirm the network before withdrawing it to a wallet.
