gDex has announced its key global leadership team of professionals from the gaming and crypto industries, today.

gDEX is a decentralized revolutionary P2E (play-to-earn) gaming platform powering gamers, creators, and guilds in the Metaverse. And now, today they announced their latest core global leadership team members. This team contains a bunch of experts from the crypto and gaming industries, whose aim is to solve some of the biggest challenges in the gaming industry, both in the current Web2 and the soon-to-come Web3.

•  CEO – J.D. Salbego

J.D, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at gDEX Metaverse. He has been a strategic leader in the blockchain space and a veteran in the web3 industry for over seven years. J.D also founded a multi-release GameFi studio called AnRKey X. AnRKey X is a familiar name in the NFT, gaming, DeFi and even in the Metaverse communities. It is also one of the first studios to innovate GameFi back in 2020. J.D. Salbego is a contributor to Cointelegraph and part of their member of the innovation Circle for Web3 Professionals. J.D is also a Web3 keynote speaker at the leading conferences around the world, including the World Economic Forum, and is also frequently quoted in leading Crypto and Blockchain media. He has also been featured by media companies such as Forbes, Business Insider, Yahoo Finance, etc. J.D. brings visionary thinking initiatives, and a global perspective to his fellow team at gDEX along with his inspiring leadership.

• COO – Sonalii A Abrol

Is an engineer turned marketer and a leader in the Gametech business ecosystems and digital entertainment. Sonalii A Abrol has experience in the marketing and gaming sector. She has worked in the APAC markets, with tactile expertise across multiple domains, and also, worked with gaming brands like Nintendo Australia where she led the execution of releasing multiple 1st party & 3rd party game titles, to Gameloft Australia. Somali also has an enviable track record working with exceptional global teams at renowned AAA games publishers and developers.

• CTO – Benj Roberts

Is a CTO and a seasoned leader in the technology industry, with over twenty years of experience building development and operational technology teams that are high performing across all traditional finance, FinTech, and blockchain-based financial services and startups with leading global Fortune corporations. He inspires a great working leadership team of tech professionals at gDEX in building next-generation gaming tools and experiences.

• CMO – Sesha Kanthamraju

Is a Disney veteran and marketer with over 15 years of experience in lead marketing and communications for gaming and content across businesses. He co-founded Green Vision, an NGO in India that has worked on environmental awareness and sustainability programs since 1992, he has also worked in several industries including media, advertising agencies, and technology firms. Sesha joins gDEX intending to lead the marketing and communications strategy.

• Head of Marketing – Rohit Kundliwal

As a strategic consultant in Fortune-500 companies and a crypto marketer with over five years of experience, Rohit formerly held positions across marketing and community with WazirX, which was acquired by Binance. At gDEX, He brings in unique marketing expertise and he is required to strengthen the community engagement for the platform.

• Senior/Lead Software Engineer – Julian Muro

Is a passionate gamer and developer with more than a decade of experience in the gaming industry. He has worked for best-in-class brands and many fan-favorite IPs. He has a deep focus on Blockchain development and in the past seven years, he has naturally integrated his passion for video games by combining both worlds, that he developed one of the first DeFi based blockchain web games ever made and has helped create many high-level NFT marketplaces that have generated millions in sales. His aim at gDEX is to create the world’s most innovative platform for the gaming community.

• VP of Digital Technology – Dan Crane

Is a passionate technologist and digital innovator, who has 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Dan has a clever type of experience in the gaming and tech space. At gDEX, Dan will lead the team’s digital thinking and help connect Gen Z with the best-in-world experiences being built, while still maintaining his need for the next big idea in the tech space.

• Head of Guilds & Ecosystem – Adrian Sim

Is a Guild Founder & GameFi Advisor to Star Symphony, Lorcan Gaming, and Lambda Society. Adrian is a spirited advocate of being a degen. In his guilds, he has organized education programs to onboard Web2 gamers to Web3 and crypto. He has adopted the Web3 agenda by co-founding two P2E (play-to-earn) guilds over the years. He has also successfully grown his digital localized company to be the go-to service provider for China Literature, Bilibili, Xiaomi, and more. Adrian is the voice of all guilds at gDEX in constantly challenging the team to build stronger experiences for all.

• Head of Games – Ian Tan

Is a Gamer with fifteen years of experience in the GameFi and crypto sector. He played a crucial role as a gamer in creating the major Web3 P2E (play-to-earn) Esports tournament “GalAxie Cup” with Axie Infinity, FTX, and AAve Grant. Ian has successfully built a leading and award-winning SEA esports agency with footprints across more than 20 countries. His aim at gDEX is to lead the mandate to bring the world’s best games onto the gDEX platform.

• Head of Partnerships – Cher Chung

Is a crypto evangelist who comes from traditional M&A in fortune-500 corporations. Cher has been managing business development, capital investments, strategic partnerships, and investor relations activities in the blockchain industry since 2017. She also has vibrant expertise in the digital assets business, specifically in crypto mining, token launches, CEX & DEX listings, venture capital, custodian services, and media. She will be working with internal and external stakeholders, at gDEX.

• Product Manager – J.B. Andrew

Is a gamer and a gaming product manager, with over eight years of experience in the gaming industry. He is particularly passionate about gaming products, indie gamer development, and is now focusing on the Metaverse & NFTs. At gDEX, he is keen to make the platform many firsts for gamers everywhere.
