Quick Answer: Ankr (ANKR) trades near $0.0040 as of October 28, 2026, with a market cap of about $40 million (around #435 on CoinMarketCap). It is down about 35% since the end of 2025 and about 98% below its all-time high of $0.225 from March 2021. Central estimates from the models we track put ANKR between about $0.0025 (CoinLore) and $0.0036 (CoinCodex) at the end of 2026, both below today’s price, and between about $0.0022 (CoinCodex) and $0.0082 (CoinLore) in 2030. In July, Ankr launched Forge, a rewards program for ANKR holders that it says is funded by its infrastructure deals and partners rather than by new tokens.
Ankr is a Web3 infrastructure company founded in 2017 that runs blockchain nodes and sells RPC access to wallets, apps and exchanges. In 2026, it added RPC support for networks such as the XRP Ledger and Robinhood Chain and, in a July open letter, admitted that its strategy for the ANKR token had been “too passive.” The price peaked in early January, fell about 57% to a 2026 low on July 29, rose about 64% to an intraday high on September 27 and has since fallen about 24%.
This update covers the current ANKR price, the main 2026 developments, the latest forecasts for 2026 to 2030 and 2040, and what it would take for ANKR to reach $0.1 or $1.
Key Takeaways
- ANKR trades about 98% below its all-time high of $0.225, set on March 28, 2021, and about 5.7 times its all-time low of $0.00071 from March 2020
- The token is down about 35% since the end of 2025: it peaked at $0.0076 on January 8, hit its 2026 low of $0.0032 on July 29 and lost about 18% in October through October 26
- Ankr says its network handles more than 1 trillion RPC requests a month; in 2026 it added the XRP Ledger, Robinhood Chain and paid access for AI agents, billed in USDC
- Ankr Forge, launched in July, rewards holders who keep at least 13,500 ANKR on Ethereum, with extra points for missions; Ankr says part of what partners spend on its RPC services is used to buy ANKR
- All 10 billion ANKR are already in circulation, so there are no unlocks ahead, but the 10 largest addresses hold about 50% of the supply
- Central estimates from current models put ANKR between about $0.0025 and $0.0036 at the end of 2026, both below today’s price, and between about $0.0022 and $0.0082 in 2030

Sources: CoinMarketCap, CoinGecko and Etherscan. CoinGecko shows the same supply but ranks ANKR #525 and lists an all-time high of $0.2135. This article measures the year-to-date change from the December 31, 2025 close; CoinMarketCap’s own figure starts from the January 1 close and shows a decline of about 38%. CoinMarketCap counts all 10 billion ANKR as circulating, so its market cap and fully diluted value are the same. That count includes about 239 million ANKR (2.4% of the supply) held at the 0x…dEaD burn address on Ethereum; without those tokens, the remaining supply would be worth about $39.3 million.
What Is Ankr (ANKR)?
Ankr is a Web3 infrastructure company founded in 2017. Its core business is RPC, the service that lets wallets, apps and exchanges read and send blockchain data without running their own nodes. Ankr runs its own global node network across more than 70 blockchains, according to its website. It also offers liquid staking, which it says holds more than $83 million in deposits, tools for launching rollups through Asphere, which it calls “the enterprise infrastructure arm of Ankr,” and validator services.
ANKR is the project’s token. It is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum with versions on BNB Chain and other networks, and it has a fixed supply of 10 billion, all of it in circulation. The uses CoinMarketCap lists for it include staking rewards, ecosystem incentives and payments for node services. Holders can stake ANKR on Ethereum with Ankr as the node provider and, since July, take part in Ankr Forge. More background is available on the official Ankr website.
Ankr News: What Has Happened in 2026
A new token plan. On July 15, Ankr published an open letter signed by “The Ankr Team” that said “our strategy around the token was too passive.” The team said it had removed “a structural barrier in how we’re organized that kept us too passive on the token.” Under the new plan, “a portion of RPC spend coming from our ecosystem partners is captured” and “used to buy $ANKR and provision liquidity.” The letter did not say how large that portion is. It also stated that “100% of $ANKR supply is already unlocked, with no inflation.”
Ankr Forge. The main tool of that plan is Forge, which went live in mid-July. Depending on the tier, holders need between 13,500 and more than 1 million ANKR on Ethereum, kept for 14 consecutive days before points can be claimed. Points come from holding and from missions and set each holder’s share of a monthly Drop, which Ankr says is funded by infrastructure deals and partner contributions, with no new tokens issued. On August 24, Ankr said the first Drop had been distributed after its first partner campaign, with Electroneum; the five largest allocations were about 100,000 ANKR each, worth roughly $400 at the time. A second season with Kite, an AI payments blockchain, started in October. A vault for locking ANKR and validator staking are planned, with no dates.
New networks and products. Ankr’s blog lists a steady run of RPC launches in 2026, including HyperEVM and Unichain in February, the XRP Ledger in August and Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum layer 2 run by Robinhood, in October; that last post is Ankr’s own announcement and does not quote Robinhood. Ankr also says it powers Trust Wallet’s RPC infrastructure. For AI agents, it launched Agent RPC in August and, on October 15, pay-per-request access through the x402 standard on Monad, paid in USDC. The announcements for x402, Agent RPC and Robinhood Chain describe no role for the ANKR token.
Bitcoin infrastructure. On September 4, Stacks Labs said “the new sBTC signers are Ankr, The Tie, and HashKey.” Signers run the systems that process deposits and withdrawals for sBTC, a Bitcoin-backed token on the Stacks network.
Exchange changes. On September 15, Coinbase suspended its ANKR/EUR pair, one of eight pairs it dropped to consolidate liquidity, according to U.Today, while ANKR/USD remains online.
Security record. In December 2022, an attacker minted huge amounts of aBNBc, one of Ankr’s liquid staking tokens. Ankr said a former team member had inserted “a malicious code package that was able to compromise our private key,” and CoinDesk put the exploit at about $5 million. Ankr airdropped a replacement token, ankrBNB, to affected holders.
ETFs. We found no filing for an ANKR exchange-traded fund on SEC EDGAR.

CoinMarketCap began tracking ANKR on March 6, 2019, when it already traded about $20 million on its first day. KuCoin opened ANKR trading on March 14, 2019, and Binance listed it on July 23, 2019, as the first project in its BEP2 community listing program. ANKR hit its all-time low of $0.00071 on March 13, 2020, yet ended 2020 up 480%. In March 2021, it rose about 2.7 times in five days, to a close of $0.194 on March 27, its highest close ever, and reached its all-time high of $0.225 the next day. Its largest market cap, about $1.43 billion, came on November 26, 2021, when CoinMarketCap counted about 8.2 billion ANKR in circulation. ANKR last closed above $0.1 on January 6, 2022. Its 2024 peak was a close of $0.067 on April 1, and it lost 81% in 2025, including a 27% drop on October 10, 2025.
In 2026, ANKR reached $0.0076 intraday on January 8 but still lost 19% in January. It fell 18% on February 5, when Bitcoin fell about 14%. It had several brief spikes on heavy volume: on March 18, it traded up to 39% above the previous close on about $210 million of volume, the most of any day this year, but closed only 6% higher. ANKR lost 28% in June, its worst month, and hit its 2026 low of $0.0032 on July 29, two weeks after Ankr’s open letter. It then rose for two months, with September its best month at about 27%, and reached $0.0053 intraday on September 27. It is down about 18% for October through October 26.
ANKR Price Prediction 2026
With about two months left in the year, the central estimates of both models we track put ANKR below today’s price at the end of 2026.
| Source | Low | Average | High |
|---|---|---|---|
| CoinCodex (December 2026; headline target $0.003602) | $0.003578 | $0.003594 | $0.003603 |
| CoinLore (bear / base / bull) | $0.00152 | $0.00253 | $0.0165 |
CoinCodex expects a December average of about $0.0036, about 11% below today’s price; its headline target is the top of its December range, and every monthly maximum in its table from November 2026 to December 2030 is below today’s price. CoinLore’s base case of $0.00253, given only in its text, would be a fall of about 37%, while its bull case of $0.0165 would be about 4.1 times today’s price. Both pages were updated on October 27 with a price close to today’s.
We do not use the figures from CoinDataFlow, whose 2026 maximum and 2027 average for ANKR were within about 2% of the same multiples of the current price as its forecasts for Cardano and Algorand, from Changelly, whose monthly table starts in October 2026 at $0.0103, about 2.6 times the $0.0040 price shown on the same page, or from BeInCrypto, whose ANKR page, dated February 2026, shows placeholder values such as a $0.00 price. We also left out Traders Union, because its current ANKR page could not be loaded and the copy we could open was out of date, with forecasts starting in June 2024.
ANKR trades about 13% below its 50-day moving average of $0.00462 and about 5% below its 200-day average of $0.00425, with a 14-day RSI of about 39, according to CoinCodex.
Range of central 2026 estimates: about $0.0025 to $0.0036.
ANKR Price Prediction 2027
| Source | Low | Average | High |
|---|---|---|---|
| CoinCodex (monthly range) | $0.002142 | $0.002929 | $0.003633 |
| CoinLore (bear / base / bull) | $0.00201 | $0.00335 | $0.0291 |
The central 2027 estimates range from about $0.0029 at CoinCodex to $0.0034 at CoinLore, both below today’s price. CoinCodex’s monthly averages fall from about $0.0035 in January 2027 to $0.0022 in December, while CoinLore’s bull case of $0.0291 would be about 7 times today’s price. Both models are built mainly on past prices, volatility and technical indicators.
ANKR Price Prediction 2028 and 2029
| Source | 2028 (central) | 2029 (central) |
|---|---|---|
| CoinCodex (average of monthly forecasts) | $0.00233 | $0.00191 |
| CoinLore (base case) | $0.00506 | $0.00540 |
For 2028 and 2029, the two models diverge. CoinCodex sees ANKR drifting lower, to about $0.0018 for most of 2029, roughly 55% below today’s price. CoinLore’s base cases are about 26% and 34% above today’s price. CoinLore’s bull case for 2029 ($0.0687) is higher than its bull case for 2030 ($0.0461).
ANKR Price Prediction 2030
| Source | Low | Average | High |
|---|---|---|---|
| CoinCodex (monthly range; headline target $0.002237) | $0.001742 | $0.002152 | $0.002442 |
| CoinLore (bear / base / bull) | $0.00494 | $0.00823 | $0.0461 |
The two central estimates for 2030 point in opposite directions. CoinCodex’s average of about $0.0022 would be a fall of about 47%, and its headline target of $0.002237, which sits just below its December 2030 average, a fall of about 45%. CoinLore’s base case of $0.00823 would about double the price. CoinLore’s page says ANKR “could potentially reach $0.0461 by 2030 in a bullish market case,” about 11 times the current price.
All forecasts are third-party model estimates, not investment advice.
ANKR Price Prediction 2040
Long-range forecasts are highly speculative. CoinCodex projects about $0.0072 by 2040, within its December 2040 range and about 80% above today’s price. CoinLore is far more optimistic, with a base case of $0.071 and a bull case of $0.22 for 2040.
What Drives the ANKR Price?
- Business and token demand: Ankr says part of what its partners spend on RPC is used to buy ANKR, but it has not disclosed how much, and new services such as x402 payments are paid in USDC.
- Forge rewards: Forge asks holders to keep at least 13,500 ANKR on Ethereum for 14 days; the first Drop’s largest allocations were about 100,000 ANKR, worth roughly $400 each.
- Supply: all 10 billion ANKR already circulate and Ankr says there is no inflation, while the 10 largest addresses hold about 50% of the supply.
- Trading activity: ANKR’s 24-hour volume of about $4.4 million is about a third of its 2026 daily average, and brief spikes such as March 18 faded within a day.
- The wider market: like most altcoins, ANKR tends to move with Bitcoin and overall risk appetite, as on February 5, when ANKR fell 18% and Bitcoin about 14%. Our Bitcoin price prediction covers the market leader.
Can ANKR Reach $0.1 or $1?
Not on the central estimates of any model we track through 2040; the highest is CoinLore’s 2040 base case of $0.071. Only CoinLore’s bull cases pass $0.1, starting with $0.107 for 2033, and none of the models we use reaches $1. ANKR last closed above $0.1 on January 6, 2022, and its highest price ever is $0.225, so it has never traded at $1. It last closed above $0.01 on November 10, 2025. With all 10 billion ANKR in circulation, each price level implies a market cap that can be compared with other coins.
| ANKR Price | Market Cap Needed | Multiple of Today’s Price | For Comparison |
|---|---|---|---|
| $0.01 | About $100M | About 2.5x | Between Livepeer ($76M) and Akash ($205M) today |
| $0.1 | About $1B | About 25x | Between Render ($880M) and Polkadot ($1.7B) today |
| $0.1425 | About $1.43B | About 35x | ANKR’s record market cap (November 2021); below Polkadot ($1.7B) today |
| $0.225 (ATH) | About $2.25B | About 56x | Between Polkadot ($1.7B) and Hedera ($3.4B) today |
| $1 | About $10B | About 248x | Between Chainlink ($8.6B) and Dogecoin ($13.5B) today |
At $0.1, ANKR’s market cap would be $1 billion, about 70% of its record of about $1.43 billion from November 26, 2021. At $1, it would need a market cap about 7 times that record. Because the whole supply already circulates, market cap and fully diluted value are the same, and no unlocks remain to add supply. A higher price would have to come from demand: much wider use of Ankr’s services, a lasting link between that business and the token, which Ankr’s buy-and-reward plan aims to create, and a strong altcoin market. ANKR’s highest close, $0.194 on March 27, 2021, came when CoinMarketCap counted about 7 billion ANKR in circulation. Our Polkadot price prediction covers another infrastructure token.
Key Risks of ANKR
- Deep drawdown: ANKR trades about 98% below its 2021 high, about 94% below its April 2024 peak close and about 61% lower than a year ago
- Weak token link: Ankr itself called its token strategy “too passive,” and x402 access for AI agents, one of its newest paid services, is billed in USDC
- Concentration: the 10 largest addresses hold about 50% of the supply, according to CoinMarketCap; on Etherscan, the largest, an unlabeled wallet, holds about 22%, and the second largest is labeled as a BtcTurk exchange wallet
- Small market: at about $40 million, ANKR ranks around #435 by market cap, and its 2026 volume spikes reversed quickly
- Security history: the December 2022 aBNBc exploit, which Ankr attributed to a former team member, cost about $5 million, according to CoinDesk
- Data gaps: CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko disagree on the all-time high ($0.225 vs $0.2135), and CoinMarketCap’s 2021 market caps used a supply of about 6.5 to 8.2 billion
- Model limits: most forecasts extrapolate past prices, and their central 2030 estimates range from a fall of about 47% to a gain of about 104%
Where to Buy ANKR
ANKR has spot markets on major exchanges including Binance (ANKR/USDT and ANKR/TRY), Coinbase (ANKR/USD), Kraken (ANKR/USD and ANKR/EUR) and Crypto.com (ANKR/USD), and on the South Korean exchanges Upbit and Bithumb (ANKR/KRW). Is Ankr (ANKR) a Good Investment?
That depends on your view of Ankr’s infrastructure business, whether the new token plan can turn that business into demand for ANKR and your tolerance for risk. The bull case rests on an established RPC provider with large users such as Trust Wallet, according to Ankr, a fixed supply that is fully in circulation, rewards that Ankr says are bought rather than issued, and listings on Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, Upbit and Bithumb. The bear case is that ANKR trades about 98% below its high, Ankr has admitted its token strategy was too passive, some new services are paid in USDC, half of the supply sits in 10 addresses, and both central estimates we track see ANKR ending 2026 below today’s price.
Further losses are possible. Forge participation, any disclosure of how much RPC revenue goes into buying ANKR and the wider altcoin market are the main known factors that could affect ANKR over the next year. For more forecasts across the market, see our crypto price predictions.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do experts predict the future value of Ankr (ANKR) in 2026?
Forecast sites such as CoinCodex and CoinLore use models built mainly on past prices, volatility and technical indicators. Their central estimates put ANKR between about $0.0025 and $0.0036 at the end of 2026, both below the late October price of about $0.0040. CoinLore’s bull case is $0.0165, about four times that price, which shows how wide the range of outcomes is.
What is the ANKR price prediction for 2030 and beyond?
Central 2030 estimates point in opposite directions: about $0.0022 at CoinCodex, roughly 45% to 47% below the late October price, and $0.0082 at CoinLore, about double. CoinLore’s bull case for 2030 is $0.046. For 2040, CoinCodex projects about $0.0072, while CoinLore’s base case is $0.071 and its bull case $0.22. Forecasts this far out are highly speculative.
Can ANKR reach $1?
Not on any model we track; even CoinLore’s highest bull case, for 2040, is about $0.22. With 10 billion ANKR in circulation, $1 would mean a market cap of $10 billion, about 248 times its late October level and about seven times ANKR’s November 2021 record of $1.43 billion. ANKR has never traded above $0.23, so it would need far wider use and a strong altcoin market.
What is Ankr and how does it work?
Ankr is a Web3 infrastructure company founded in 2017. It runs a global network of blockchain nodes and sells RPC access, which lets wallets, apps and exchanges read and send blockchain data without running their own nodes. It also offers liquid staking and rollup services. ANKR is its token, with a fixed supply of 10 billion, used for staking, rewards and payments for node services.
Is Ankr a good investment, and does it have a future?
That depends on your risk tolerance. The company is active: it added networks such as Robinhood Chain and the XRP Ledger in 2026 and says it serves more than 1 trillion RPC requests a month. But ANKR trades about 98% below its 2021 high, Ankr has called its own token strategy too passive, and both central forecasts we track see ANKR lower at the end of 2026.
How do you stake ANKR?
According to Ankr’s documentation, you connect a wallet such as MetaMask to the Ankr Staking app on Ethereum, choose Ankr as the node provider and stake at least 1,000 ANKR. Each stake is locked for 84 to 91 days, rewards accrue weekly and must be claimed manually, and unstaking takes one to two more weeks. Ankr also plans vault locking and validator staking through Forge.
Where can I buy ANKR?
ANKR trades on major exchanges including Binance, Coinbase, Kraken and Crypto.com, as well as Upbit and Bithumb in South Korea, and CoinGecko also lists markets on MEXC, Bybit and LBank. Availability depends on your country, so check each platform’s supported assets before buying. ANKR exists on Ethereum and other networks, so confirm the network before withdrawing it to a wallet.
