Last Updated: November 3, 2026
Worldcoin (WLD) trades near $0.37 as of November 3, 2026, with a market cap of about $1.39 billion (#53 on CoinMarketCap). It is down about 23% since the end of 2025 and about 97% below its all-time high of $11.82 from March 2024.
Central estimates from the two models we track put WLD between about $0.29 (CoinCodex) and $0.33 (CoinLore) at the end of 2026, both below today’s price, and between about $0.54 (CoinCodex) and $0.70 (CoinLore) in 2030. About 3 million WLD still unlock every day, and the circulating supply has grown about 40% this year.
Worldcoin is the token of World, a network that issues World ID, a proof that its holder is a real human, mainly after an iris check by a device called the Orb.
In 2026, World upgraded World ID, added partners such as Zoom and Docusign, expanded its Tinder integration to the US and saw its daily token unlocks fall by 43% under existing schedules, while Grayscale filed for a WLD fund. The price hit an all-time low of $0.228 on May 17, more than tripled to $0.716 by June 17 and has dropped about 40% since an October 3 high of $0.617.
This update covers the current WLD price, the main 2026 developments, the latest forecasts for 2026 to 2030 and 2040, and what it would take for WLD to reach $10 or its record.
Key Takeaways

- The token is down about 23% since the end of 2025: it hit its all-time low on May 17, peaked for the year at $0.716 on June 17 and lost about 37% in the 30 days to November 3
- World ID now counts more than 18 million verified humans, according to World, which expanded its Tinder integration to the US, added partners such as Zoom, Docusign and Okta and in October launched World ID for banks
- Daily unlocks fell by 43% on July 24 under existing schedules, but about 3 million WLD still unlock every day, and CoinMarketCap’s circulating supply has grown about 40% since the end of 2025
- Grayscale filed in July to list a Worldcoin ETF on Nasdaq, still pending, while Colombia’s data protection authority upheld its order to shut down World’s processing of sensitive data there
- Central estimates from current models put WLD between about $0.29 and $0.33 at the end of 2026, both below today’s price, and between about $0.54 and $0.70 in 2030

Sources: CoinMarketCap, CoinGecko and World. CoinGecko shows the same supply but ranks WLD #65 and lists an all-time high of $11.74 and an all-time low of $0.230. This article measures the year-to-date change from the December 31, 2025 close.
CoinMarketCap takes the circulating supply from a World data feed. The fully diluted value uses the full 10 billion supply, which adds about 2 billion WLD that are unlocked but not counted as circulating and about 4.2 billion that are still locked.
What Is Worldcoin (WLD)?
Worldcoin (WLD) is the token of World, a network that aims to give people a way to prove online that they are a real human rather than a bot or a deepfake. Its core product is World ID. Its main proof of human comes from verifying with the Orb, a device that checks the iris; World says the verification image is processed on the device and not stored.
Since December 2025, World has also let people in some countries add proofs by connecting an NFC-enabled passport, without visiting an Orb. People use World ID in apps through World App or the new World ID app, which World describes as “an identity wallet.”
The protocol launched in July 2023 and is overseen by the World Foundation, described on World’s website as “the initial steward of the protocol.” Tools for Humanity, which provides services to the Foundation, was founded in 2019.
WLD runs on Ethereum and on World Chain, an Ethereum layer 2 that gives verified humans priority blockspace; its block explorer counted about 20.4 million transactions in the 30 days to October 26. World’s whitepaper says the token, alongside World ID, will be used for governance, and World has said that apps paying World ID fees would pay them in WLD. More background is available on the official World website.
Worldcoin News: What Has Happened in 2026
A new World ID and its partners. On April 17, World presented what it called “the most significant World ID protocol upgrade to date” and said the network “now spans nearly 18 million verified humans across 160 countries.”
Partners announced that day included Zoom, Docusign, Razer and Vercel; Tinder, which first piloted World ID in Japan, said it was expanding its integration to the United States; and World said Okta plans a product to check whether a human stands behind an AI agent.
On October 18, at the Money20/20 conference, World introduced World ID for banking and finance, naming Bain Capital, OpenExchange, Outtake, Pantera Capital and VanEck Funds as initial design partners, and released the World ID app.
From token rewards to fees. In June, the World Foundation said World was entering “Phase 3” of its plan, which “transitions growth from token-based incentives to utility-driven growth.” It said more than 900 million WLD had gone out as user grants and referral rewards and that about 16 million verified people had claimed WLD.
World’s expected fee model has “applications using World ID paying fees, while keeping protocol usage free for end-users.” In 2025, it said the World ID smart contract “will require fees to be paid in WLD.”
Slower unlocks, more supply. Under existing schedules, the daily unlock rate fell 43% on July 24, from about 5.1 million to about 2.9 million WLD, as unlocks of community tokens halved and those for Tools for Humanity’s investors and team fell 32%. CoinMarketCap now tracks about 3.06 million WLD unlocking each day.
Even so, its count of circulating WLD rose from about 2.67 billion at the end of 2025 to about 3.72 billion, an increase of about 40%. As a result, WLD’s market cap is about 8% higher than at the end of 2025, even though its price is about 23% lower.
Token sale and a treasury company. On July 24, the World Foundation announced that it had raised $52.5 million by selling WLD to investors led by Pantera Capital, with the tokens locked for a year, according to The Block and Cointelegraph; the price was not disclosed. One participant, Nasdaq-listed Eightco Holdings, reported in a September filing that it held 301,971,219 WLD, about 8% of the circulating supply.
ETF filing. On July 20, Grayscale filed a registration statement with the SEC for the Grayscale Worldcoin ETF, which would hold WLD and list on Nasdaq under the ticker GWLD. Its shares “will not commence trading unless and until NASDAQ confirms” that listing requirements are met, and EDGAR showed no amendment to the filing as of October 27.
Orbs and stores. World opened flagship stores in Munich in May and on London’s Oxford Street in July; the London store offers Orb verification. World aims to have 95% of its Orbs running on a self-serve model by the end of 2026.
Regulation. Colombia’s Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) said on July 8 that it had upheld its 2025 sanction ordering “the immediate and permanent shutdown of any operation in Colombia involving the processing of sensitive data” by World Foundation and Tools for Humanity, along with the deletion of the sensitive data collected there, including iris codes. “No further appeal is available against this decision,” the authority said.

CoinMarketCap tracks WLD from its launch on July 24, 2023, when it closed at $2.19. It dipped below $1 in September 2023, ended the year at $3.64 and set its all-time high of $11.82 on March 10, 2024, when CoinMarketCap counted only about 149 million WLD in circulation.
It ended 2024 at $2.09. In September 2025, WLD jumped from $1.03 to $1.93 in two days, lifting its market cap to a record of about $3.9 billion on September 9, but it lost 77% over 2025 as a whole.
In 2026, WLD rose about 26% on January 28, after trading as much as 39% higher during the day, a rally that Cointelegraph said coincided with a Forbes report, based on unnamed sources, that OpenAI was developing a “humans-only” social media platform that would likely verify users with Apple’s Face ID or World’s Orb; it gave back 18% the next day.
It fell 15% on February 5, when a market-wide sell-off cut Bitcoin by about 14%, and lost 31% in March, its worst month.
After its all-time low on May 17, WLD nearly tripled by its June 16 close, including a 42% jump on June 3, as daily trading volume averaged about $710 million in June. It fell 26% in July, the month its unlock rate was cut, rose 46% in September, its best month, and is down about 17% for October through October 26.
WLD Price Prediction 2026
With about two months left in the year, the central estimates of both models we track put WLD below today’s price at the end of 2026. We checked both forecast pages on November 3, 2026.
| Source | Low | Average | High |
|---|---|---|---|
| CoinCodex (December 2026; headline target $0.2955) | $0.2711 | $0.2853 | $0.2955 |
| CoinLore (end of 2026, bear / base / bull) | $0.2004 | $0.3339 | $1.41 |
CoinCodex expects a December average of about $0.29, roughly 23% below today’s price. Its headline target of $0.2955 is the top of its December range. CoinLore’s base case of $0.3339 would be a fall of about 10%, while its bull case of $1.41 would be about 3.8 times today’s price. CoinLore’s page was updated on November 3, and CoinCodex showed a price of $0.3728, close to CoinMarketCap’s.
We do not use the figures from CoinDataFlow, whose WLD forecasts were almost the same multiples of the current price as its forecasts for other coins, from Changelly, which has no current WLD forecast page, or from BeInCrypto, whose WLD page dates from February 2026 and shows placeholder values such as $0.00 support and resistance.
WLD trades about 23% below its 50-day moving average of $0.4818 and about 6% below its 200-day average of $0.3972, with a 14-day RSI of about 35, according to CoinCodex. CoinLore puts support at about $0.3665 and the first major resistance at about $0.4018. These are observed chart levels, not forecasts.
Range of central 2026 estimates: about $0.29 to $0.33.
How earlier forecasts did: Blockchainreporter’s Crypto Price Prediction Tracker compared the end-2026 forecast this page showed in June 2026, Coinpedia’s range of $1.85 to $4.78 with an average of $2.98, with Worldcoin’s CoinMarketCap price on November 4, 2026, about $0.39. The price was about 87% below that average and under the bottom of the range. Final scores are due in January 2027.
Blockchainreporter Scenario Range for the End of 2026
Unlike the model forecasts above, this range is Blockchainreporter’s own. It shows where WLD could close on December 31, 2026 if it keeps the volatility of the past 90 days, without assuming a trend in either direction. It is a scenario range, not a price target or investment advice.
| Scenario | WLD on December 31, 2026 | What could drive it |
|---|---|---|
| Bear (10th percentile) | $0.206 | About 3 million WLD unlock every day and more regulators follow Colombia in acting against World |
| Base (middle 50% of outcomes) | $0.270 to $0.495 | Daily unlocks keep adding supply while World ID sign-ups grow at their current pace |
| Bull (90th percentile) | $0.650 | World ID sign-ups and partner integrations grow faster than daily unlocks add supply |
How we calculated it: WLD traded at about $0.366 on CoinGecko on November 5, 2026, and its daily moves over the previous 90 days imply annualized volatility of about 114%. Projecting that volatility over the 56 days to the December 31 close, with no trend, half of the modeled outcomes fall inside the base range, one in ten ends above the bull figure and one in ten ends below the bear figure. Crypto prices have fatter tails than this model assumes, so moves beyond the bear and bull figures are more likely than it suggests. Blockchainreporter’s Crypto Price Prediction Tracker records this range and will score it against CoinMarketCap’s December 31 close in January 2027.
WLD Price Prediction 2027
| Source | Low | Average | High |
|---|---|---|---|
| CoinCodex (monthly range) | $0.2513 | $0.4776 | $0.9949 |
| CoinLore (bear / base / bull) | $0.2170 | $0.3617 | $2.15 |
The central 2027 estimates range from about $0.36 at CoinLore to $0.48 at CoinCodex. CoinCodex’s monthly averages peak at about $0.81 in October 2027 and end the year at about $0.63 in December. Most of these models are built mainly on past prices.
WLD Price Prediction 2028 and 2029
| Source | 2028 (central) | 2029 (central) |
|---|---|---|
| CoinCodex (average of monthly forecasts) | $0.5328 | $0.3778 |
| CoinLore (base case) | $0.4678 | $0.4948 |
For 2028 and 2029, central estimates range from about $0.38 to $0.53. CoinCodex’s monthly averages peak at about $0.64 in May 2028 and fall to about $0.40 by December 2029. CoinLore’s bull case for 2028 ($5.87) is higher than its bull cases for 2029 ($5.65) and 2030 ($3.81).
WLD Price Prediction 2030
| Source | Low | Average | High |
|---|---|---|---|
| CoinCodex (monthly range; headline target $0.6316) | $0.4273 | $0.5424 | $0.7363 |
| CoinLore (bear / base / bull) | $0.4224 | $0.7040 | $3.81 |
Both central estimates for 2030 are above today’s price. CoinCodex’s average of $0.54 would be a gain of about 46%. Its headline target of $0.6316, which sits within its December 2030 range, would be a gain of about 70%.
CoinLore’s base case of $0.70 would be about 89% higher. CoinLore’s page says WLD could reach $3.81 by 2030, but that is its bull case, about 10 times the current price. Its own monthly table puts the December 2030 base case at only $0.2673.
All forecasts are third-party model estimates, not investment advice.
WLD Price Prediction 2040
Long-range forecasts are highly speculative. CoinCodex projects about $1.38 by the end of 2040, about 3.7 times today’s price. CoinLore is more optimistic, with a base case of $5.81 and a bull case of $19.29, the source of the $19 figure its page quotes for 2040.
What Drives the WLD Price?
- Supply and unlocks: about 3 million WLD unlock every day, CoinMarketCap’s circulating supply has grown about 40% in 2026, and about 2 billion WLD are unlocked but not yet counted as circulating.
- Use of World ID: World reports more than 18 million verified humans and partners from Tinder to banks, and its fee model would have apps, not users, pay for World ID.
- Regulation of biometric data: decisions such as Colombia’s can close a country to the Orb and force data deletion.
- Market access and large holders: WLD trades on the largest exchanges, Grayscale’s ETF filing is pending, and Eightco reports holding about 8% of the circulating supply.
- The wider market: like most altcoins, WLD tends to move with Bitcoin and overall risk appetite, as on February 5, when WLD fell 15% and Bitcoin about 14%. Our Bitcoin price prediction covers the market leader.
Can WLD Reach $10 or Its Record?
Not on the central estimates of either model we track; the highest is CoinLore’s 2040 base case of $5.81. Only CoinLore’s bull cases pass $10, starting with $13.65 for 2036. WLD set its all-time high of $11.82 in March 2024, when CoinMarketCap counted about 149 million WLD in circulation, about 25 times fewer than today. With about 3.74 billion WLD now in circulation, each price level implies a market cap that can be compared with other coins.
| WLD Price | Market Cap Needed | Multiple of Today’s Price | For Comparison |
|---|---|---|---|
| $0.671 | About $2.5B | About 1.8x | WLD’s highest 2026 close (June 16); below Bittensor ($2.7B) today |
| $1.05 | About $3.9B | About 2.8x | WLD’s record market cap (September 2025); just above Avalanche ($3.8B) today |
| $2 | About $7.5B | About 5.4x | Between Cardano ($7.0B) and Dogecoin ($11.8B) today |
| $10 | About $37.4B | About 27x | Between TRON ($30.6B) and Solana ($55.0B) today |
| $11.82 (ATH) | About $44.2B | About 32x | Between TRON ($30.6B) and Solana ($55.0B) today |
These figures use today’s circulating supply, which has grown about 40% this year, though CoinMarketCap’s figure can move up or down from day to day. CoinMarketCap counted about 5.8 billion WLD, or 58% of the supply, as already unlocked in late October. At the current pace, about 1.1 billion more unlock each year. World’s whitepaper says nearly all team and investor unlocks conclude by the end of July 2028, while community tokens keep unlocking until 2038.
On the full 10 billion supply, WLD’s fully diluted value is about $3.72 billion, 2.7 times its market cap. At $10, it would be $100 billion, more than BNB’s market cap of $91.7 billion.
Even on today’s circulating supply, $10 would require a market cap about 9.6 times WLD’s record. A higher price would need demand to grow faster than supply: paid use of World ID, more verified humans and a strong altcoin market. Our NEAR Protocol price prediction covers another AI-related network.
Key Risks of WLD
- Deep drawdown: WLD trades about 97% below its 2024 high and about 81% below its $1.93 close of September 9, 2025, the day of its record market cap
- Supply growth: about 4.2 billion WLD are still locked, and at the current pace about 1.1 billion unlock each year, close to 30% of today’s circulating supply
- Regulation: Colombia’s data protection authority ordered the shutdown of World’s sensitive data processing there and the deletion of iris codes, with no further appeal available
- Concentration: Eightco Holdings alone reports holding about 8% of the circulating supply, and tokens sold in the July round are subject to a one-year lockup, according to reports
- Volatility: WLD rose 42% on June 3 and fell 22% on June 6, and it lost about 37% in the 30 days to November 3, according to CoinMarketCap
- Fee uncertainty: World describes its fee model as “expected,” and whether any share of fees is burned is left to future decisions
- Model limits: most forecasts extrapolate past prices, and CoinLore’s monthly and yearly tables give very different figures for 2030
Where to Buy WLD
WLD has spot markets on major exchanges, including:
- Binance: WLD/USDT, WLD/USDC, WLD/BTC and WLD/TRY
- Coinbase: WLD/USD
- Kraken: WLD/USD and WLD/EUR
- OKX: WLD/USDT
- Crypto.com: WLD/USD
- Upbit and Bithumb: the two largest South Korean exchanges
Robinhood’s website also lists WLD for its US crypto customers in select jurisdictions. World says WLD became available in the United States in 2025, but it is not available for distribution through World App to residents of New York or other restricted territories, and eligibility for WLD is “restricted based on geography, age, and other factors.”

Is Worldcoin (WLD) a Good Investment?
That depends on your view of World ID, whether apps will pay to use it and your tolerance for risk. The bull case rests on more than 18 million verified humans, partners such as Tinder, Zoom and Okta, a 43% drop in daily unlocks, listings on the largest exchanges and a pending Grayscale ETF filing.
The bear case is that WLD trades about 97% below its high, its circulating supply has grown about 40% this year, Colombia’s regulator has ordered World to stop processing sensitive data there, and both central estimates we track see WLD ending 2026 below today’s price.
Further losses are possible. The pace of unlocks, paid use of World ID, regulatory decisions, the Grayscale filing and the wider altcoin market are the main known factors that could affect WLD over the next year. For more forecasts across the market, see our crypto price predictions.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Worldcoin price prediction for 2026?
The central estimates of both models we track put WLD below its November 3 price of about $0.37 at the end of 2026. CoinCodex puts its December 2026 average at about $0.29, with a headline target of $0.2955, and CoinLore’s base case is about $0.33. That would mean declines of roughly 10% to 23%. These estimates are built mainly on past prices and can change quickly.
What is the WLD price prediction for 2030 and beyond?
For 2030, central estimates range from about $0.54 at CoinCodex to $0.70 at CoinLore, roughly 46% to 89% above the November 3 price. CoinCodex’s headline 2030 target is $0.63, while CoinLore’s bull case is $3.81. For 2040, CoinCodex projects about $1.38 and CoinLore’s base case is $5.81. Forecasts that far ahead are highly speculative.
Can WLD reach $10?
Not on any central estimate we track; only CoinLore’s bull cases pass $10, starting in 2036. With about 3.7 billion WLD circulating, $10 means a market cap of about $37 billion, roughly 27 times the November 3 level and 9.6 times WLD’s 2025 record. On the full 10 billion supply, the fully diluted value would be $100 billion, while about 3 million WLD still unlock daily.
What is Worldcoin (World) and how does it work?
World is a network built around World ID, a digital proof that its holder is a real human rather than a bot. Its main proof comes from the Orb, a device that checks the iris, though some proofs can come from NFC-enabled passports. People use it through World App or the World ID app. World says more than 18 million people hold this proof. WLD is the network’s token.
When are the next WLD token unlocks?
WLD unlocks every day rather than in large one-off events. CoinMarketCap tracks about 3.06 million WLD unlocking daily, after the unlock rate fell by 43% on July 24, 2026, and counts about 58% of the 10 billion supply as unlocked. World’s whitepaper says nearly all team and investor unlocks conclude by the end of July 2028, while community tokens keep unlocking until 2038.
Is Worldcoin a good investment?
That depends on your risk tolerance and your view of World ID. Supporters point to more than 18 million verified humans, partners such as Tinder, Zoom and Okta, slower daily unlocks and a pending Grayscale ETF filing. Critics point to a 97% fall from the 2024 high, supply growth, Colombia’s shutdown order and central model estimates below the November 3 price for the end of 2026.
Where can I buy WLD?
WLD trades on major exchanges including Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, OKX, Crypto.com, Upbit and Bithumb. World says WLD became available in the United States in 2025, though not for distribution through World App to residents of New York or other restricted territories, and eligibility depends on factors such as location and age. Check each platform’s supported assets in your country, and confirm the network before withdrawing.
