Coinspaid treats remote-first work as an operating model, pairing global hiring and employee flexibility with clear ownership, written decisions, structured development, and purposeful time together.
At Coinspaid, remote-first work shapes how specialists in different markets make decisions, take ownership, and develop their careers without relying on a shared office. Documented practices make distributed work predictable for employees and manageable as teams grow. That structure matters in an international company where technical, regulatory, and commercial teams work closely together.
A Distributed Model by Design
Coinspaid built its remote-first model as a business and people decision. Employees can work in an international company without making relocation a condition of the job. The company, in turn, can hire for expertise rather than proximity to an office. That widens access to specialists across blockchain, fintech, engineering, payments, compliance, and business operations, while allowing teams to grow across markets.
That reach depends on clear operating discipline. Coinspaid pairs location flexibility with explicit responsibilities, accessible decisions, and routines that keep teams aligned across regions. Remote-first work is treated as an operating model rather than a stand-alone benefit.
As Alexandra Kuzminova, CHRO at Coinspaid, explains: “Remote-first is first and foremost a mindset. It is built on accountability, trust, and a high degree of autonomy.”
Systems That Make Flexibility Work
Remote teams have fewer opportunities to correct ambiguity through an informal conversation. Coinspaid addresses that constraint through transparent communication and a more systematic approach to information, ownership, and development. Its people infrastructure includes:
- Documented decisions and defined ownership, so teams can see what was decided and who is accountable
- Monthly company-wide updates, quarterly strategic reviews, and regular cross-functional communication
- Structured onboarding designed to help new hires become effective within 30 days
- Skills matrices and individual development plans that connect current responsibilities with longer-term growth
These practices reduce the amount of organizational knowledge that sits in private conversations or depends on a particular time zone. They also give employees a clearer basis for setting priorities, asking for support, and understanding how their work contributes to company goals. Accountability becomes easier to exercise because expectations are written down and reviewed.
A Global Professional Environment
Coinspaid develops blockchain technology and infrastructure for businesses that work with digital assets. The company operates in a fast-changing industry where payments, engineering, security, compliance, and commercial operations intersect.
Working in this setting gives professionals access to experienced colleagues across disciplines and markets. Engineers see their work in the context of payments and regulation, while compliance and business specialists contribute to blockchain solutions designed for real-world use. Employees gain practical experience and learn from colleagues with different professional and geographic backgrounds.
The Results Behind the Model
Coinspaid’s internal HR data offers a concrete view of how the model performs. Average employee tenure has risen year over year since 2022. More than 40% of senior positions filled during the past 18 months went to internal candidates. Voluntary attrition among engineers remains below the industry average.
Longer tenure points to retention. The share of senior roles filled internally shows that employees can move into larger responsibilities rather than having to leave to advance. Engineering attrition is especially relevant in a market where technical specialists can consider employers across borders.
Coinspaid also reports an employee Net Promoter Score of +47.8, with nearly 60% of employees classified as promoters. Employee advocacy rose 13.6 points year over year. The scores provide a consistent signal that employees are more willing to recommend the company as a place to work.
What Employees Experience
For employees, the practical benefit is clarity. Responsibilities are defined, employees know what is expected, and development plans and skills matrices give career discussions a concrete basis. Internal vacancies provide opportunities to move into larger roles.
Tom Gasaner, an engineering manager who joined Coinspaid remotely in 2025, described the practical effect: “What surprised me was how quickly I knew what was expected. Here, the written rules matched how things worked in practice.” His account shows how documented expectations can guide routine work.
Employees also collaborate across functions, markets, and professional backgrounds. In blockchain payments, that gives them access to perspectives from product design, security, compliance, and operations.
Purposeful Time Together
Coinspaid doesn’t treat remote and in-person work as competing models. Its remote-first approach includes 2 in-person working sessions each year for activities that benefit from physical presence, including strategic discussions, complex problem-solving, creative collaboration, and relationship building.
Routine coordination remains documented and accessible online. In-person sessions focus on questions that need sustained discussion, quick feedback, or direct interaction. Coinspaid chooses the format according to the work involved.
Taken together, these practices let Coinspaid hire globally while keeping coordination, professional development, and accountability explicit.
