Today’s market session has started with a rather bullish sentiment as the global cap records a 1.7% increase within 24 hours of trading to take the total cap to $1.04T as of press time. Bitcoin (BTC) has also seen a 2% notable gain as the asset now trades at the $25K level. Bitcoin is still 3% down from its previous three week’s price ass te asset now trades at $25,555.
BTC’s trading volume is at $15B as the drop now drops at 0.2%. Bitcoin’s volatility levels are also rising as the Bollinger bands converge away from each other. The relative strength index is slightly below its average line as bulls look to push for a cross back and into the overbought region.
The MACD indicator also approaches the average line as bulls look to cross over back into the positive region as the asset looks to recover.
Altcoin analysis
Other altcoins are also doing well with Ethereum (ETH), the altcoin king gaining a 1.7% gain within 24 hours of trading to take the asset’s price to $1671 as the asset pushes for a comeback from its 9% weekly drop.
BNB seems to have also started a slight recovery run as the asset now sits on a 1.1% gain within 24 hours of trading as the asset’s seven-day drop now stands at 8%. BNB now trades at $238. XRP is however having a tough session as the asset records a minor 0.01% gain as of press time to take its price to $0.4811 as the market cap falls by 39%.
Cardano (ADA) and Dogecoin (DOGE) have both gained 1,6% and 3% respectively as Polygon (MATIC) and Polkadot (DOT) drop 4.5% and 3% respectively. Uniswap (UNI) currently on second trending, is still struggling as the asset now sits on a 0.9% drop within 24 hours of trading to take its price to $4.4.
Today’s top gainers are Internet computer (ICP), currently trading at $3.98 and ranked #30 on CoinMarketCap, which has seen a 6.9% gain within 24 hours. The asset’s trading volume has also seen a 14% increase to take it to $24M. PEPE is another top gainer today recording gains of 8.3% in valuation within the same period as its trading volume also increase by 12%.
