The ethereum price prediction conversation shifted this week, and most people have not caught up. Bitmine bought 28,086 ETH last week, worth about $70 million, pushing its total to 5.93 million ETH according to decrypt. That is 4.9% of every ETH that exists. Chairman Tom Lee called ETH the best major asset of Q3 2026, beating the S&P 500 by 54 points.
Amid that buying, one ETH based presale keeps surfacing wherever ETH holders compare notes: Pepeto, now past $10.9 million raised. The question is not whether ETH goes higher from here. It is whether the coins built on ETH move first, and who is in when they do.
What Does Bitmine’s $70 Million ETH Buy Mean for the Ethereum Price Prediction?
Bitmine has bought ETH every week since June 2025, per its September 8 update according to Coingape. The latest buy of 28,086 coins brought the total to 5.93 million ETH, valued at $14.8 billion. Over 5.06 million of those coins are staked on the firm’s own validator network.
Tom Lee also pointed to the CLARITY Act vote on September 15 as a coming signal. When a public company buys this much ETH this fast, the message is clear. ETH holders who see the same direction are also looking at what is being built on the chain right now.

Why Are ETH Holders Buying Into the Pepeto Presale Right Now?
Looking beyond the ETH chart shows what makes Pepeto stand out. A presale is where early ETH buyers made their fortunes. Pepeto brings that same kind of entry, plus an exchange and a scanner that traders can open today.
The Pepeto exchange charges zero protocol fees. Uniswap takes 0.30% on every trade, so $1,000 costs $3 there. On PepetoSwap, the same trade costs nothing. Scale that to $100,000 and the savings are $300 each time. The exchange supports market, limit, and DCA orders with built in MEV protection active, tested on $50 million in daily volume.
The risk scanner checks 42 items on any token before trading. It tests for mint locks, pause controls, hidden owners, rigged taxes, then simulates a trade on a forked copy of the chain. One scan returned a score of 6, caught a honeypot, and blocked the trade on the spot.
SolidProof cleared the full audit and KYC. The person who created the first Pepe coin cofounded this project, and a former Binance expert builds on the dev side. Staking pays 163% APY right now, with rewards set to unlock at listing.
The current entry sits at $0.0000001893, and every stage pushes it higher until the Binance listing seals it. ETH itself started as a presale at about $0.31 a coin in 2014. The people who bought then did not wait for proof, and $1,000 became millions at the peak. Analysts project 300x for Pepeto after listing, which turns $5,000 today into $1.5 million. That is the same shape, at the same early stage, with the presale still open.
Where Could the Ethereum Price Go by the End of 2026?
ETH trades near $2,573 as of September 11, per CoinMarketCap data. The peak was $4,953 set on August 24, 2025, so the current price sits 50% below that mark. Analysts place the 2026 range at $2,320 support and a breakout target near $2,920 if the $2,550 wall breaks.
Exchange reserves fell to 14.92 million ETH, the lowest this year, which tightens supply. The fact that Bitmine buys $70 million per week says all the macro needs to say. The price has room to run, and a break past $2,920 this month sets up a move toward the old high.
Conclusion
The answer depends on where a buyer looks. Bitmine buying $70 million of ETH every week is the clearest signal this year, and the ethereum price prediction points higher because of it. But ETH was a presale once too, and the wallets that bought at $0.31 are the ones still telling the story.
Pepeto is built on that same chain, its cofounder created the original Pepe coin, and its raise passed $10.9 million with the listing still ahead.
Whale money only moves when the outcome is mapped, and it is moving now. The ones who missed SHIB waited for one more signal. This is the signal, and it closes the day Binance opens.
