Quick Answer: XRP traded near $1.25 at about 21:05 UTC on November 2, 2026, about 6% below its March 30 close of about $1.32, according to CoinMarketCap. The upside CoinCodex’s model projected in March, $1.68 in June and $2.21 in October, did not arrive, and CoinCodex now projects an average of about $1.31 for December. US spot XRP ETFs added about $600 million in net inflows between March 31 and October 30, according to SoSoValue, but their net assets fell in October as the price dropped.
This report was first published on March 30, 2026, and is kept as written apart from corrections, which are listed at the end of the original report. The “Update (November 2026)” section below covers what has changed since.
XRP has been in a persistent downtrend since July 2025, when it set a record of about $3.65 on CoinGecko data (CoinMarketCap’s all-time high remains $3.84 from January 2018). On March 30, 2026, XRP traded near $1.32, about 18% above its February low of about $1.12, which was its lowest level since November 2024. The XRP price was still higher than at any point in 2022 or 2023, when it never traded above about $0.94 on Binance.
In the short term, XRP has failed to develop a trend in either direction. In CoinCodex’s 30-day data as of March 26, shown below, XRP was up only about 2.8%, while Bitcoin gained about 9.7%, Ethereum about 13.7% and Solana about 13.9%. A rally to about $1.61 on March 17 faded within two weeks.

While XRP certainly has a dedicated base of supporters, the overall level of interest for XRP is currently in a slump, which is likely driven in part by a combination of relatively low short-term volatility and a prolonged bearish price trend.
It’s also important to highlight that XRP’s previous strong narratives, namely Ripple’s legal battle with the SEC and the anticipation of spot XRP ETF launches in the United States, have concluded. The SEC case ended in August 2025, when both sides dismissed their appeals, leaving the $125 million civil penalty and the injunction in place, according to the SEC. Spot XRP ETFs have traded in the US since November 2025 and can be bought through brokerage accounts that support ETF trading.
With those narratives playing out and XRP lagging behind Bitcoin, investors likely feel that “nothing is happening” in regards to XRP at the moment. One signal backing this up is Google Trends data, which at the time of writing showed US search interest for the term “XRP” at its lowest level in a year.

The past month’s XRP ETF flows also indicate a lack of interest in the coin. According to data from The Block, the highest single-day net inflow into spot XRP ETFs in the last month was just $7.6 million. In this same time period, there have also been 5 separate trading days where the tracked XRP ETFs saw $0 in net flows and 6 separate trading days with negative net flows. SoSoValue’s data, checked in November, gives a similar picture: the best day in March was about $7.5 million on March 3, and March as a whole ended with net outflows of about $31 million.

XRP price prediction
To gain another viewpoint, let’s examine CoinCodex’s algorithm-based XRP price prediction, which anticipates upward momentum for XRP over the coming months. According to the platform, XRP could reach a high of $1.68 in June, representing a 19% rise from the price the model used at the time, about $1.41.
Looking further ahead, the outlook becomes even more optimistic. CoinCodex’s model predicts that XRP may climb to a local peak of $2.21 in October, which would mark a 56% increase compared to that price.
Although this projection is clearly bullish, it still suggests that XRP is unlikely to approach its all-time high of $3.84 within the next year. What happened to these projections is covered in the update below.
XRP news roundup
Recently, we have seen quite a few news updates related to Ripple, with some of them potentially also impacting the XRP Ledger. Here’s a quick breakdown of the latest Ripple and XRP news.
Ripple joins Singapore central bank initiative to test XRP Ledger-based trade settlements
Ripple is participating in the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s BLOOM initiative to test programmable cross-border trade settlements using the XRP Ledger and its RLUSD stablecoin. The project focuses on advancing settlement systems through tokenized bank liabilities and stablecoins, with Ripple collaborating alongside supply chain fintech firm Unloq to deploy a smart contract-based trade finance platform that automates payment execution once shipment conditions are verified.
By integrating trade obligations, financing processes, and settlement rules into a unified system, the initiative aims to improve transparency, reduce risk, and expand access to trade finance, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises.
XRP treasury company Evernorth takes an important step towards public listing
Evernorth Holdings has filed a Form S-4 registration statement with the SEC to merge with Armada Acquisition Corp. II and list on Nasdaq, aiming to become the largest publicly traded XRP treasury company. The company expects the merger to generate about $1 billion in gross proceeds.
The company has already accumulated a substantial XRP position, holding about 473 million coins, and is backed by institutional investors including Ripple, Arrington Capital, SBI Group, Pantera Capital, and Kraken.
Rather than simply tracking XRP’s price like a passive investment vehicle, Evernorth plans to actively grow its XRP holdings per share through strategies such as institutional lending, liquidity provisioning, and participation in decentralized finance, including operating validators and leveraging Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin.
The public listing is designed to give traditional financial institutions access to XRP exposure without directly holding digital assets, addressing regulatory and structural constraints faced by many large investors.
Ripple expands in Brazil and Australia
Ripple is significantly expanding its footprint in both Brazil and Australia by deepening its regulatory strategy and broadening its institutional product offerings.
In Brazil, the company is positioning itself as a comprehensive infrastructure provider for financial institutions by offering a full suite of services that spans cross-border payments, digital asset custody, stablecoin integration, and treasury management.
It also plans to apply for a Virtual Asset Service Provider license with the Central Bank of Brazil, in line with the country’s new virtual asset framework. According to Ripple, it already works with local banks, fintechs and exchanges such as Banco Genial, Braza Bank, Nomad and Mercado Bitcoin on payments, stablecoin settlement and custody, and its RLUSD stablecoin had passed $1.5 billion in market capitalization.
In Australia, Ripple’s expansion is centered on securing an Australian Financial Services License through the acquisition of a local payments firm, BC Payments, which would allow it to deliver fully regulated, end-to-end payment services.
This would enable Ripple to manage the entire transaction lifecycle while integrating traditional financial infrastructure with blockchain technology, improving speed, transparency, and efficiency for cross-border payments.
Corrections (November 2, 2026): The original version gave XRP’s all-time high as $3.92, set in July 2025; CoinMarketCap lists $3.84 from January 2018, and the July 2025 peak was about $3.65 on CoinGecko. It said XRP was trading at its lowest level since November 2024; that low came in February 2026. It said the price was above every level of 2022 to 2024; XRP traded as high as about $2.91 in December 2024. Its 30-day changes for XRP, Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana are now attributed to the CoinCodex snapshot of March 26 shown in the chart. Evernorth held about 473 million XRP, not 388 million, and an unverified figure for Ripple’s XRP contribution was removed. Ripple said it plans to apply for a Brazilian license, not that it had applied. The description of how the SEC case ended was made more precise.
Update (November 2026)
Seven months after this report, XRP is lower, the projections quoted above were not met, and the biggest event of the autumn for XRP holders was the October 29 hack of Binance. Here is what has changed as of November 2, 2026.
| Metric | March 30, 2026 | November 2, 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| XRP price (CoinMarketCap) | ~$1.32 (daily close) | ~$1.25 (about 21:05 UTC) |
| Spot XRP ETF cumulative net inflows (SoSoValue) | ~$1.21 billion | ~$1.81 billion (October 30) |
| CoinCodex projection quoted | $1.68 (June), $2.21 (October) | ~$1.31 average for December 2026 |
| Ripple escrow balance | Not given in the report | ~30.4 billion XRP after the November 1 release |
How much has XRP’s price changed since March 30?
XRP traded near $1.25 at about 21:05 UTC on November 2, down about 5.8% from its March 30 close of about $1.32 and about 50% lower than a year earlier, according to CoinMarketCap. Its market capitalization is about $78.9 billion, fifth among cryptocurrencies. The path in between was volatile: on Binance, XRP fell to about $1.01 in June, dropped below $1 in mid-August with a low near $0.99, then rallied to about $1.70 later that month. It lost about 16% in October and now sits about 67.6% below its all-time high of $3.84. Our XRP news today page tracks the daily moves, and the XRP price page has live quotes.
How have XRP ETF flows changed since March?
Demand picked up after this report. US spot XRP ETFs took in about $600 million in net inflows between March 31 and October 30, lifting cumulative net inflows from about $1.21 billion to $1.81 billion, according to SoSoValue data. August ($159 million, the best month of 2026) and May ($132 million) were the strongest months, while October was the weakest since March at about $19 million. Net assets still fell from about $1.69 billion on October 1 to $1.42 billion on October 30, mostly because of the lower price, and equal about 1.8% of XRP’s market value. Flows stayed small in the week of the Binance hack: about $8.4 million in on October 29 and an outflow of about $0.5 million on October 30. Five spot funds trade today: Bitwise’s XRP, Franklin’s XRPZ, Canary’s XRPC, 21Shares’ TOXR and Grayscale’s GXRP. Our XRP ETF guide covers all eleven US XRP ETFs.
Did the analysts’ upside targets come true?
No. CoinCodex’s model, quoted above, pointed to a high of $1.68 in June and a local peak of $2.21 in October. XRP’s June high on Binance was about $1.34, about 20% short, and its October high was about $1.56, about 30% short. XRP did briefly pass $1.68 in late August, peaking near $1.70. CoinCodex has since cut its outlook: its page, updated on November 1, projects an average of about $1.31 for December 2026, within a range of $1.21 to $1.38.
The best-known bank forecast was not quoted in our March report but shaped expectations at the time. Standard Chartered’s Geoffrey Kendrick cut his end-2026 XRP target from $8 to $2.80 in a February 12 note and kept $28 for 2030, while saying he expected further declines first, as reported by DL News. We found no later revision as of November 2. XRP would have to more than double from today’s price to reach $2.80 by the end of the year. These are third-party figures, not our own forecasts. Our XRP price prediction compares the models we track, and our analysis of whether XRP is a good investment in 2026 weighs the case for and against.
What happened to Ripple’s escrow?
Ripple’s monthly escrow releases continued on schedule. On November 1, 1 billion XRP was unlocked in two transactions of 500 million each, cutting the escrow balance from about 31.4 billion to 30.4 billion XRP, according to trackers cited by crypto.news. Ripple returned about 700 million XRP to new escrow contracts in both September and October, but as of 10:50 UTC on November 1 none of the November release had been re-locked, according to on-chain tracking cited by Coinpaper, and we found no report of a re-lock by the evening of November 2. An unlock follows a schedule set in 2017 and does not by itself mean Ripple is selling. The next release is due on December 1. Our report on the 1 billion XRP escrow unlock explains how the schedule works.
How did the Binance hack affect XRP?
Hackers took about $6.3 billion from Binance on October 29, as widely reported, and the FBI attributed the theft to TraderTraitor, a North Korean hacking unit, on October 31, according to CoinDesk. XRP fell about 6.7% on Binance that day, from about $1.33 to $1.24, and touched about $1.20 on October 30. According to TRM Labs data cited by CoinDesk, the stolen funds included about 233 million XRP, worth roughly $290 million at today’s price.
Binance reopened withdrawals in phases on November 1, with the XRP Ledger among the 15 networks in the first phase, and says its XRP and RLUSD balances are fully backed. On November 2 it said the zero-knowledge proof for its October 31 reserves snapshot is complete, so users can verify that their XRP balances are backed at least 1:1. Binance also says it has replenished about 95% of the stolen amount; that figure is its own and has not been independently verified. Since the hack, XRP has traded between about $1.20 and $1.27. Our report on Binance reopening withdrawals has the full timeline.
What happened to Evernorth and Ripple’s plans?
Evernorth completed its merger with Armada Acquisition Corp. II on October 9, and its shares began trading on Nasdaq under the ticker XRPN on October 12, with about 473 million XRP and about $300 million in gross cash proceeds, according to the company. Ripple, for its part, said on October 26 that it had received final approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency for Ripple National Trust Bank. These are company announcements; neither changes the escrow schedule or the ETF data above.
What should XRP holders watch next?
| Date | What to watch |
|---|---|
| November 3 | Binance’s next withdrawal phase, covering more networks and assets |
| November 4 | Binance’s next reserves snapshot with more tokens; planned activation of the fixCleanup3_4_0 XRP Ledger amendment at about 14:46 UTC, if validator support holds |
| Mid-November | Third-quarter 13F filings, which show which institutions held XRP ETFs on September 30 |
| Each trading day | US spot XRP ETF flows, which slowed to about $19 million in October |
| December 1 | The next 1 billion XRP escrow release, and whether Ripple re-locks part of it |
Regulation is a slower-moving factor: the CLARITY Act, the US market structure bill, failed a Senate cloture vote 49 to 50 on September 15, 2026, and has not been enacted. On the chart, XRP has held above about $1.20 since the hack, while every rebound has stalled near $1.27; the October 28 high near $1.34 is the next level above. These are observed levels, not forecasts.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the XRP price outlook for the end of 2026?
We do not publish our own targets. CoinCodex’s model, updated November 1, projects an average of about $1.31 for December 2026, close to today’s price near $1.25. Standard Chartered’s end-2026 target, cut from $8 to $2.80 in February, implies more than a doubling, and we found no later revision. Forecasts made in March for June and October were not met.
Did analysts cut their XRP price targets for 2026?
Yes. Standard Chartered cut its end-2026 target from $8 to $2.80 in February 2026 while keeping $28 for 2030. CoinCodex’s model, which in March pointed to $1.68 in June and $2.21 in October, now projects an average of about $1.31 for December. XRP’s actual highs were about $1.34 in June and $1.56 in October on Binance.
Are XRP ETF inflows still weak?
They improved after March, then slowed again. US spot XRP ETFs took in about $600 million in net inflows between March 31 and October 30, with August the best month of 2026, according to SoSoValue. October brought only about $19 million, and net assets fell to $1.42 billion on October 30, mainly because XRP’s price dropped during the month.
How did the Binance hack affect XRP?
XRP fell about 6.7% on Binance on October 29, the day of the roughly $6.3 billion hack, and touched about $1.20 on October 30. TRM Labs data cited by CoinDesk shows about 233 million XRP among the stolen assets. Binance reopened XRP Ledger withdrawals on November 1 and says its October 31 reserves proof shows XRP balances backed at least 1:1.
