On October 10, 2022, Binance announced that it had set a new Guinness World Record. Binance now holds the record for the largest cryptocurrency lesson in the world. It achieved the record on Friday, October 7, 2022, at the Blockchain Land Nuevo León, Mexico.
Details of the Crypto Lesson
During the lesson, 289 people attended a class by Binance, one of the biggest crypto exchanges in the world by volume. Binance collaborated with Talent Network to organize the lesson. Carolina Carnelli, the Head of Marketing at Binance in Latin America, was the instructor during the lesson. Carnelli guided attendees through a 50-minute class, including an online presentation by Changpeng Zhao, the Binance CEO.
The class began at 10:30 AM (CDT) and centered on “How Crypto is Changing the World.” During the lesson, attendees were instructed on topics such as Web3, crypto and blockchain, different types of assets, benefits of the blockchain, and how crypto could boost financial freedom and inclusion globally.”
Promoting Crypto Knowledge in Latin America
Binance and Talent Network are committed to developing talent from Latin America. They aim to expand their knowledge of Web3 technology, which will revolutionize industries globally. The Blockchain Land Nuevo León 2022 event was a hybrid in-person and online. Viewers worldwide could stream it via the official Talent World app. Participants who viewed it remotely were not counted as attendees by the Guinness World Records officials.
It is not the first Guinness World Records title held by Talent Network. However, it is the first for Blockchain Land. In two previous records, Talent Network set the record for the world’s largest robotics class and the world’s largest software class in 2018 and 2019, respectively.
